MEGAN GRANDINETTI YOGA & WELLNESS
YOGA CLASSES, LESSONS & BODYWORK
All Ashtanga yoga classes are offered at Twisted Roots Yoga & Wellness in York, PA.
Ashtanga yoga is a system of yoga established by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois designed to purify the body through breath and movement to bring stillness to the mind. In a Led Primary Series class, students are led through the series in connection with their breath. Mysore-style practice is the traditional method of teaching Ashtanga yoga: 1-on-1 within a group setting. No prior yoga experience is necessary, only a commitment to grow and learn in the practice. Students work independently on the particular series of postures that is most appropriate for them. The teacher assists, adjusts and may quietly discuss particular difficulties or concerns with individual students during class. Beginners and those new to Ashtanga are welcome to start anytime and in any class. Studio class rates apply.

Private yoga lessons are great for beginners to yoga, for regular practitioners that are looking for a more personalized way to work on their practice, or for those with injuries or physical limitations that could make attending group classes difficult. No matter what physical age, size, shape, fitness level, gender, race, or ethnicity you are, I'm always happy to work with you.

My primary mode of healing is Ayurvedic bodywork, which consists of application of oil to the body in a specific direction to provide relaxation, promote circulation, and balance your body type (or "dosha"). However, I work very intuitively with the body, using deeper tissue work when needed, and allowing the body to direct me as to how to release it. I see bodywork as a conversation between me and your body, one that usually ends with you leaving feeling lighter, relaxed and more at ease when we're finished.
My greatest blessing in this life...
is to have met my guru, Mooji. He has shown me how to live from my own Heart, and for that, I am forever grateful.
Live by the light of your own heart...but make sure this heart is silent and empty.
